Krisztián Lisztes's experiences with his hair transplant at HairHungary

One of the best Hungarian players of the 1990s and the turn of the millennium. He played his first match in Ferencváros's senior team in 1993, at the age of 17. The excellent midfielder grew into a key player during his 3 years at home. Under his leadership Fradi became 2-time champions, cup winners and Champions League participants. The first Hungarian scorer in the Champions League. In 2012 the bald spot on the crown of Krisztián's head could be spotted from afar. The multiple-time international footballer wanted to change this, so earlier he sought a solution at the HairHungary clinic.

The domestic clinic performs hair transplant procedures at a world-class level, and its specialists already perform surgeries at foreign sister clinics as well. The final result of the two-round hair transplant could practically be "announced" only recently, since the regeneration time of the transplanted hairs is approximately one year.

The surgical procedure was carried out with the so-called SafeSystem-FUE2 painless procedure. The hairs were moved from the donor area at the back of the head to the crown of Krisztián's head with a semi-automatic "gun". Hair transplantation has undergone significant changes over the last 10 years, and fortunately this development is not slowing down at all. The improved version of Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), the basic method of graft-by-graft hair transplantation, was for a long time the most effective hair transplant procedure in plastic surgery. Over time, however, new devices became available, so it is important to emphasize that although at the time of the procedure SafeSystem FUE2 was the most effective method, nowadays we rather use the Trivellini FUE procedure, available at our clinic in Hungary almost as the first.

"Before the injection they applied a cream to my scalp, which also reduced the sting of the first painkillers. After that I did not really feel pain, I only noticed that they were working on the back of my head. We started relatively early in the morning, and I had gone to bed late the evening before, so I dozed off a couple of times during the morning." – Lisztes recalls the day of the surgery.

The result clearly reflects that the bald spot located in the so-called vertex area on Krisztián's head disappeared completely, the hairs extracted from the back of the head started to grow healthily and brought a completely natural end result for Krisztián.
